2012 theme word

compassionate- Having a loving heart toward all people that you meet in life. I try to be compassionate now, but in the future and from here on out, I'm going to try a little harder to smile at the random guy in walmart, just to try to make a difference in his day.

I chose the world compassionate because i think not enough people in this wold show compassion. I try to show everyone that a meet in walmart, walking down the hall, or even just walking down the street that someone in this world cares, sometimes just a polite smile is all  it takes to brighten some body's day.

If i can be a more compassionate person it will help me in my future carrier in the medical field. It takes a lot of compassion to care for complete strangers day in and day out. In the medical world right now most people are in it for the money, and don't genially care about the person they're taking care of, if nurses and doctors were more compassionate maybe being in the hospital or having to go to the doctor wouldn't be so bad.

argument: girls can play football

assertion:
  • girls should be able to play football

evidence-concrete detail:
  • equality, girls should have the same rights in sports as girls
    • commentary 1: " can throw a perfect spiral, and punt farther then most guys can." if a girl can play better or just as good as the guys they should get the rights to play.
    • commentary 2:women fought for our rights of equality a long time ago, and won. we have the same rights as any male in the us.To vote, to drive, and to play football if we so choose.
  • The guys say we are girls. we are not as tough, or as strong as they are
    • If i worked out as much as the guys on the football team i could be as strong as they are.
    •  How tough a girl is is a mind set, if she wants to be as tough as the guys she can be.

opposing claims/ they say:
  • girls don't have the skill, and arnt tough enough to play football
my rebuttal:
  •  given the chance and the lessen to play we could have the skill, and any girl can be as tough as any guy.
my paragraph:
  • equality, girls should have the same rights in sports as girls "can throw a perfect spiral, and punt farther then most guys can." if a girl can play better or just as good as the guys they should get the rights to play. women fought for our rights of equality a long time ago, and won. we have the same rights as any male in the us.To vote, to drive, and to play football if we so choose.  The guys say we are girls. we are not as tough, or as strong as they areIf i worked out as much as the guys on the football team i could be as strong as they are. How tough a girl is is a mind set, if she wants to be as tough as the guys.
